LSAC's Board of Trustees has made available funds to support cooperative outreach and applicant-pool expansion events. These grants are designed to encourage law schools to work together to promote legal education. At least three LSAC-member schools must work together on each event. Examples of eligible events include law fairs, conferences, workshops, or other events that are a combination of these types.

LSAC DEI Pathway Grants

The Law School Admission Council, Inc. (“LSAC”) is committed to promoting access and equity in legal education and the legal profession. The DEI Pathway Grant (the “Grant”) program makes awards to institutions assisting individuals who are underrepresented in the legal profession, and who face historical, social, political, economic, and educational barriers. Institutions will be considered for grants if their programming focuses on at least one of the following goals:
- Goal 1: Early Access/Outreach Introducing the law and careers in law to students, particularly students from underrepresented populations, before high school graduation
- Goal 2: Score Gap Reducing LSAT score disparities
- Goal 3: Equitable Admissions Reducing disparities in admission rates across populations
- Goal 4: 1L Retention Reducing disproportionate attrition rates across populations after the first year of law school
